While it would take a few months to cover all the anime spots in Tokyo, we put together a brief list of a few anime-inspired travel destinations you may want to check out during your tour's free day in Tokyo!

Coming in at number three on our recommended anime spots, your vacation can't go wrong spending a day in the beautiful bay area of Tokyo's Odaiba. The man-made island is home to numerous shopping centers, a convention center, the Tokyo Rainbow Bridge, the Life-Size Gundam Statue, and even a replica of the United State's Statue of Liberty.

If you're an anime fan or just looking to stay in luxury, Odaiba is the place to go. You'll find great shopping options, including a Gundam Shop filled with anything and everything related to the battling robots. Keep in mind, Odaiba is home to the massive Unicorn Gundam statue. Odaiba is also home to the Tokyo Ramen Kokugikan, an impressive collection of six ramen shops showcasing the various styles of Japanese ramen noodles. Embrace anime, luxury, and amazing foods with a post-stay in Tokyo's Odaiba neighborhood after your tour.

Home to the Pokemon Mega Center, Sunshine City Prince in Ikebukuro is a stop worth making for any anime family. The former sight of Shonen Jump's J-World themed-park, Sunshine City Prince is no stranger to catering to Anime fans. Enjoy the numerous anime and manga themed shops, including the recently opened Pokemon GO Corner in the Pokemon Mega Center. Sunshine City Prince is also home to a few luxury stores in addition to other great shopping options for the whole family to enjoy. There's even an aquarium to enjoy in this incredible shopping complex.

The perfect destination for anyone who loves anime and wants to get some shopping done, Tokyo Character Street hidden in Tokyo Station is the best place to enjoy anime shopping in between traveling Tokyo. Lined with multiple anime stores, including a JUMP Shop and Pokemon Store, it's easy to spend the day browsing Tokyo Character Street. The street itself is comprised of the Anime street, as well as a Ramen Street dedicated to everyone's favorite Japanese noodles, and a snack street for cookies and other treats. The streets are around the rest of the Tokyo Station shopping and dining options, making Tokyo Character Street perfect for families who want a litle me-time in between their Tokyo tour.
