Lavender flowers are an early summer tradition
The Hida Kiyomi Lavender Garden is a 7,500 square meter garden filled with 4,500 lavenders blooming in the early summer. When in bloom, the entire town is surrounded by the fresh, relaxing scent of lavender. The blooming tends to last from late June through mid July and there is a lavender fair held on the outskirts of the garden. The festival features various lavender products to enjoy, and celebrates the blooming of these breathtaking flowers.
