Mt. Yotei is an active strato-volcano in the Shikotsu-Toya National Park on the island of Hokkaido. Translating to sheep-hoof mountain, Mt. Yotei has a lot of names, including Ezo Fuji (Ezo was the former name of Hokkaido), Makkari Nuprui, and Mt. Shiribeshi. Regardless of the names, Mt. Yotei is a symmetric volcano reminiscent to Mt. Fuji. Standing at an impressive 1,898 meters (6,227 feet), Mt. Yotei is known as one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. Explore Mt.
