Drifting is said to have originated in Japan, and the Ebisu Circuit is known as a drift racing paradise, attracting many international tourists every year.
The popularity of drifting has grown and become a part of Japan's popular culture among a wide range of people, as evidenced by the movie "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and the manga"Initial D."
Located in the middle part of central Fukushima Prefecture, Ebisu Circuit is a vast site with ten courses of various types and difficulty levels, from racing courses to drift courses. The tracks are open all year round to the public, except if there is a special event or race, for maintenance, or if a group reserves it for a private event. The Ebisu Circuit, which attracts drift fans from all over the world, offers a thrilling and unique experience.
You can bring your own car, rent one, or even buy a car at the Ebisu circuit.
The Private Drift Lesson includes a one-on-one driving lesson as well as the setup of the car. This lesson is an ultimate course for serious drivers who want to improve their skills in a short time.
There is also the Perfect Drift Lesson Package which includes the turbo charged drift car, 4 tires, the circuit fee, and a full tank of gas.
Those who are unable to drift by themselves but want to experience drifting can take a ride in a "Drift Taxi" which is driven by a professional driver. The Drift Taxi accommodates up to 3 people.
Ebisu Circuit holds a "Drift Festival" three times a year in the spring, summer, and fall. The matsuri is non-stop drifting for 2 days and it usually starts from 9 am on Saturday and goes right through the night until 4 pm the next day on Sunday. (Schedules may change depending on the weather or other circumstances.) Anyone is welcome to bring their own car for drifting or to watch the event. This event is truly a paradise for drift fans!
