Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art

21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kazanawa, Ishikawa Prefecture is a museum designed by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa in 2004. The museum exhibits works of contemporary artists from all over the world. The museum has a circular form and has no main entrance to prevent the museum from constraining its guests to view the artworks from just one direction. Leandro Erlich's work "Swimming Pool" is a popular work of the museum. When looking down into the "pool" the people inside appear to be underwater even though there is no water. An admission fee even allows you to enter the pool and view from the inside looking out. 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is a great museum to view works of acclaimed contemporary artists.
