While some of us remember playing Mario Kart for hours growing up, Maricar in Japan found a way to thrill tourists and locals alike with their real life Mario Kart services. Ranging between 8,000 to 11,000 yen, Maricar offers various courses perfect for touring the city of Tokyo. With multiple courses and a tour guide leading your group, drive around Tokyo in style! You may not get to go over the famous Rainbow Bridge from the video-games, but you'll be sure to be the talk of all your friends when they see the photos of you racing through the city. You can enhance your ride with optional Bluetooth speaker rentals, Go-Pro rentals, and even mustache rentals!
Advanced booking for the MariCAR experience is recommended for participants who would like to enjoy this attraction. We recommend booking directly through their website. MariCAR is open from 10AM-10PM. For more information, click here to visit MariCAR's Website
While there are many concerns you may have with go-kart rentals and riding, Maricar's FAQ page does a great job handling any concerns you may have. However, we at Japan Deluxe Tours would like to note: (pulled directly from Maricar's website):
Maricar's custom made go-kart is for Streets in Japan. You will need a valid Japanese driver's license, or an International Driving Permit, or an SOFA License for US Forces Japan! NO LICENSE NO DRIVE!!
