Hitsujiyama Park is a beautiful flower garden in Saitama with hills covered in flowers of shades of pink and purple. Shibazakura Hill in Hitsujiyama Park provides a gorgeous landscape view of the city. The park is also a popular cherry blossom viewing sight with approximately 1,000 cherry blossom trees of various kinds. Springtime, especially during April is the most ideal time to visit when both the cherry blossoms are in full bloom as well as the moss phloxes.
