Tokyo Character Street is a line of stores close to the JR Tokyo Station Yaesu Underground area. The street has 20+ stores selling goods from various anime-franchises, including Pokémon, Hello Kitty, and Snoopy to list a few. The street has an event space called Ichiban Plaza
where special pop-up stores and limited-time events occur. The stores are divided by characters, which makes finding what you're looking for a breeze. Tokyo Character Street is in the underground section of Tokyo Station, so guest are advised to follow the North Underground Exit
signs if they can't find their way.
We recommend visiting the: JUMP SHOP, Pokémon Center, K-Spot (powered by Kiddy Land), Hello Kitty Shop, Snoopy Town mini, and Lego Clickbrick.
Located in the same plaza as Tokyo Character Street is Tokyo Ramen Street. Similar to Tokyo Character Street, Tokyo Ramen Street is dedicated to selling various types of Ramen popular in Tokyo. Tokyo Ramen Street has 8 restaurants for guests to enjoy from. Ordering is made simple by the use of a ticket order
system, that involves guests to purchase tickets through vending machines to give to the waiters, to quickly get their lunch. Tokyo Ramen Street makes for a good lunch option for anime fans after a day of shopping at the Character Street close by.
At Tokyo Okashi Land, visitors can enjoy shopping through the many types of popular sweets offered in Japan. Three of Japan's major candy producing companies gathered to sell freshly-made candies and other goods. Fans of sweets can sample some of Japan's most popular candies and buy their favorites as souvenirs for loved-ones back home. A visit to Okashi Land is a way to end shopping in Tokyo Station on a good note, even if you did not find what you were looking for.
Come visit this expansive shopping area filled with delicious ramen, incredible snacks, and exclusive merchandise and flavors you won't find outside Japan when we visit Tokyo Character Street during Japan Deluxe Tour's select line of Anime Japan Tour vacations and holiday packages.
