Our anime-themed adventure begins in Tsukiji, Tokyo’s iconic fish market known not only for its fresh seafood but also as the inspiration behind countless anime food scenes—from sushi-making montages in One Piece to market strolls in Shokugeki no Soma. Feel the energy of this culinary hub as we stroll through lively stalls and taste local specialties featured in anime culture. Next, we step into the timeless streets of Asakusa, a popular setting in anime like Demon Slayer and Sarusuberi. We'll walk along Nakamise-dori, a traditional shopping street lined with vendors selling kimono accessories, hand fans, and lucky charms—perfect for anime-style photo ops. Don't miss Sensoji Temple, often seen in historical anime set in Edo-era Tokyo. At lunchtime, enjoy a seasonal Japanese meal that mirrors the dishes beloved by anime characters—from classic bento aesthetics to crispy tempura and delicate seasonal flavors. This is your chance to experience the kind of food scenes you’ve seen animated on screen. Afterward, we dive into the vibrant pop culture epicenter of Shibuya. Snap a photo with the famous Hachiko statue, often referenced in anime like DIGIMON and Tokyo Godfathers, and experience the electric rush of the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, a backdrop for countless scenes in anime and J-dramas alike. We end the day at the world-renowned eamLab Planets Tokyo, an immersive digital art museum that blends light, sound, and interaction—creating a dreamlike setting worthy of a Studio Ghibli fantasy. This dazzling experience perfectly encapsulates the intersection of technology and imagination that defines modern Japanese art and anime culture. |

Tour Goods Package
The number of participants in your Japan tour may vary depending on the season. During high-peak seasons, especially in March and April (Cherry Blossom Season), the group size may reach around 35 people. Your group may be joined by other tour groups during the tour. Please note that your bus and tour guide may change if other groups are combined with your tour.
Single travelers are required to pay a single supplement in order to guarantee single room accommodation.
Due to bus size and transfer limitations, each traveler is allowed one suitcase, one carry-on, and one overnight bag. Additional luggage will incur an extra fee. The tote bag we provide can be used to hold any small merchandise/souvenirs purchased during your tour. When you check out, bring your luggage to the lobby and the bus driver will assist in loading it onto the bus. When you arrive at the next hotel, the bus driver will unload your luggage for you to bring to your room.
*The maximum weight of a checked in bag is typically 20 Kilograms or 44 Pounds. You will be traveling with your luggage except during the bullet train ride (if applicable).
*Depending on the circumstances, some transfers may use public transportation, which may require carrying your own suitcase.
All hotel rooms come with a full bathroom and room amenities free of charge unless stated otherwise.
All motor coaches come equipped with air-conditioning, plenty of space, comfortable seats, and Wi-Fi.
Airport Transfer
For departures from Tokyo and Hiroshima, airport transfers are generally arranged by limousine bus. If you prefer a private transfer, this can be arranged for an additional fee—please be sure to request this with our staff prior to your tour departure.
*For Hiroshima departures, tickets can only be purchased on the day of travel, so your guide will provide instructions the day before departure.
All of our tours begin in either Tokyo or Osaka/Kyoto. When beginning or ending a tour in Tokyo, please book flights to or from Narita International Airport or Haneda International Airport. For tours beginning or ending in Osaka/Kyoto, please book flights to or from Kansai International Airport or Itami Airport.
We recommend you do not book your flights until the tour status changes from Book Now to Guaranteed Departure. You can also contact us if you would like for Japan Deluxe Tour's to arrange your flights.
Traveling and visiting sights in Japan includes a good amount of walking. To fully enjoy the tour, please be prepared to keep up with the pace of the group, climb stairs with no difficulty, and wear comfortable shoes for all day use.
Regulations on bus parking have become stricter, and in some cases it may be necessary to walk from the designated parking lot to the facility (distances vary).
Guests with tattoos may not be able to use the hot-springs or onsens while in Japan. We apologize if you are unable to enjoy this experience during your stay.
We understand sometimes unanticipated situations may arise before or even during your Japan tour. In order to best assist you when things don't go as planned, Japan Deluxe Tours recommends purchasing travel insurance offered through Travel Guard® Insurance.
Travel Guard® Insurance offers coverage for: Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Baggage Delay, Medical Expense (deductible required), Emergency Medical Transportation, and an Exclusive Family Protection Plan: One child 16 or under will receive coverage at no additional cost for every adult that purchase a protection plan. Every Travel Guard policy includes 24-hour emergency travel assistance services for emergencies or last-minute travel changes, such as re-booking flights, hotel reservations or ground transportation, tracking lost luggage, and more!
For more information about coverage, view our Travel Insurance Page.
Meals options:
- Originally planned meals (standard menu)
- Vegetarian meals
*We will not be able to substitute or change meals after your tour begins.
For guests with severe allergies (e.g., anaphylaxis, prescribed EpiPen, medication required, or reactions beyond ingestion) or religious dietary restrictions, we regret that special meal arrangements cannot be accommodated.
Only guests with mild allergies—those who can manage any symptoms on their own—may join the tour.
We will inform restaurants of any reported allergies; however, complete avoidance or cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. Please bring your own food as necessary.
If your tour itinerary includes a rickshaw ride experience, please note that rickshaws are generally designed for two passengers per ride. However, if one of the passengers has a larger physique, there may be size limitations on the width, which could make it difficult to accommodate two passengers. If there is an available rickshaw on the day of your ride, we will do our best to accommodate; however, please be aware that if there are no available rickshaws, you may not be able to ride.
If you think this may apply to you, please inform us at the time of your reservation.
