We start your private Japan tour off with a peaceful stroll through the historic Kiyosumi Garden. Built in the Meiji Period, the thousands of trees and seasonal flora will leave you forgetting that you are indeed in the one of the largest metropolitan cities in the world. Afterwards, we learn more about Tokyo’s past at the Fukagawa Edo Museum where you can find a life size recreation of what Tokyo was like during the Edo Period. We then head to the Tsukiji Outer Fish Market and see what once was part of the largest wholesale fish market in the world was has to offer. You will finish your morning with a proper teppan-yaki meal with the world-famous premium wagyu beef as the main course.
Our final stop will take us to the historical Asakusa Sensoji Temple before heading back to the hotel. |

Today, we begin to head west where we will explore the Hakone area. A relaxing and scenic ride on the Lake Ashi Cruise and Hakone Ropeway will provide views of Mt. Fuji should weather permit. The ropeway will take us to Owakudani Valley, an area with active volcanic vents and famous for its black boiled eggs which is said to add 7 years to your life when eaten. The last stop of the day will be the tranquil Hakone Open Air Museum where you can enjoy works of art while enjoying the scenic backdrop. |

Our private Japan tour will head to Kyoto and Nara today via a thrilling bullet train ride. Once we get to the destination, we will enjoy a kaiten sushi to satisfy any sushi cravings. The first destinatin will lead us to Nara for a visit to the ancient Todaiji Temple where the giant buddha statue will surely leave a lasting impression. While there, we will also take a detour to the famous Deer Park where you can feed and hang out with the nationally protected divine deer. The next visit will be to the Fushimi Inari Shrine, home of the thousand torii gate tunnel and is a sight to behold as you stroll through one of the most important Shinto shrines in Japan. Our hotel for the night will feature a Japanese style hotel complete with a relaxing soak in the famed hot springs as well as a traditional kaiseki dinner. |

Our adventures in Kyoto begin with a visit to the Golden Pavilion, a stunning building famous for its gold leaf covered exterior. Arashiyama is next on the list where you will enjoy a rickshaw ride through the peaceful bamboo forest for a unique experience. Our afternoon will have us partaking in quintessentially traditional Japanese experiences. First, lunch with a Maiko performance as well as a rare chance to interact and take pictures.Lastly, we learn to make a cup of matcha via the traditional tea ceremony that Japanese culture is known for. Be sure to explore the charming Ninenzaka area where you can find traditional goods and sweets before heading back to the hotel. |

Single travelers are required to pay a single supplement in order to guarantee single room accommodation.
We request one suitcase, one carry-on bag, and an overnight bag per person. The tote bag we provide can be used to hold any small merchandise/souvenirs purchased during your tour. When you check out, bring your luggage to the lobby and your tour guide will assist in loading it onto the car/bus.
Please note: The maximum weight of a checked in bag is typically 20 Kilograms or 44 Pounds. You will be traveling with your luggage except during the bullet train ride (if applicable).
All hotel rooms come with a full bathroom and room amenities free of charge unless stated otherwise.

All of our tours begin in either Tokyo or Osaka/Kyoto. When beginning or ending a tour in Tokyo, please book flights to or from Narita International Airport or Haneda International Airport. For tours beginning or ending in Osaka/Kyoto, please book flights to or from Kansai International Airport or Itami Airport.
We recommend you do not book your flights until you talk to one of our travel specialists. You can also contact us if you would like for Japan Deluxe Tour's to arrange your flights.
Traveling and visiting sights in Japan includes a good amount of walking. To fully enjoy the tour, please be prepared to keep up with the pace of the group, climb stairs with no difficulty, and wear comfortable shoes for all day use.
Guests with tattoos may not be able to use the hot-springs or onsens while in Japan. If you would like to try private hot-spring, please contact us for advanced reservation.
