Our journey begins with an interactive Udon Making experience in Takamatsu, where we'll learn the art of crafting these delicious noodles and enjoy our handmade creations.

Next, we'll head to Hiroshima to visit the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, a powerful symbol of peace and resilience. We'll then explore the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, dedicated to the memory of the victims and a place for reflection and hope for a peaceful future. Our visit continues at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, where we'll learn more about the city's history and the impact of the atomic bombing through poignant exhibits.

To conclude our day, we'll indulge in a traditional Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki dinner, savoring the unique flavors of this local specialty at a renowned restaurant.

Our journey begins with a scenic ferry ride to Miyajima, offering beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea. As we glide over the calm waters, take in the fresh sea breeze and the stunning landscape, setting the tone for an unforgettable day of exploration.

Upon arrival, we'll explore the island of Miyajima, renowned for its lush natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Stroll through the charming streets, admire traditional architecture, and experience the serene ambiance that makes Miyajima a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.

Next, we'll visit the iconic Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its "floating" torii gate, which appears to float on the water during high tide. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique and picturesque setting, perfect for capturing memorable photographs and appreciating the historical significance of the shrine.

Our journey continues with an adventure to Beppu's famous hot springs: Sea Hell and Blood Hell. We begin our adventure with a visit to Amano Iwato Shrine, a sacred Shinto site nestled in the mountains. The shrine is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and steeped in mythology. We'll explore the grounds and learn about the legend of Amaterasu hiding in the cave, causing the world to fall into darkness.

Continuing our journey, we'll walk to Amano Yasugawara, a mystical cave along the Iwato River. This significant Shinto site is where the gods gathered to discuss coaxing Amaterasu out of her cave. The cave, adorned with countless visitor-stacked stones, creates a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

Our exploration culminates with a visit to Takachiho Gorge, a breathtaking natural wonder. The gorge is famous for its sheer cliffs, lush greenery, and the emerald waters of the Gokase River. For those interested, boat rentals are available to explore the gorge and view the stunning Manai Falls up close, enhancing the tranquil beauty of this remarkable landscape.

We start our day at Sakura-no-baba Josaien, a cultural complex at the foot of Kumamoto Castle. Here, we immerse ourselves in the history and culture of the area, with traditional shops, restaurants, and historical exhibits offering a glimpse into the past.

Next, we visit the magnificent Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's most impressive and well-preserved castles. We'll explore its grand architecture, learn about its rich history, and enjoy the beautiful views from the castle grounds.

Our journey then takes us to Yanagawa, known for its picturesque canals. We'll enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the waterways, surrounded by charming scenery and traditional buildings, making for a serene and memorable experience.

As night falls, we head to Mount Inasa for a breathtaking view of Nagasaki's nightscape. The observation deck offers panoramic views of the city illuminated below, providing a stunning and unforgettable end to our day.

Day 8

Our day begins in Nagasaki where we will visit several historically significant locations. The first stop will be the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park, a symbol of peace and a testament to the horrors of war. The Peace Statue sits at the epicenter of the atomic bomb blast. The right hand points up to symbolize the bomb, while the left hand points toward future peace. The statue's bent right leg symbolizes meditation, while the bent left leg represents the need to stand against war. The closed eyes offer prayers and respect for the souls lost in the devastation.

For lunch, we will enjoy local favorites champon and sara udon, both noodle dishes that originated in Nagasaki.

Next, we will head to Glover Garden, which exhibits Western-style mansions. After viewing these gorgeous mansions, we will continue to the Oura Catholic Church. The Oura Catholic Church is Japan’s oldest standing Catholic church and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list as part of the Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region in 2018.

Our journey continues to Imari in Okawachiyama Village, famous for its high-quality Imari porcelain. Here, we'll explore pottery shops and learn about the traditional techniques of ceramic craftsmanship.

We conclude our day in Fukuoka, exploring the vibrant Nakasu district. Known for its street food, Nakasu offers a lively atmosphere and a chance to sample delicious local delicacies.

Today, we’ll embark on the Shinkansen, heading swiftly towards Osaka. As our journey reaches its mid-point, we’ll take a short break to relax and enjoy the ride.

Upon arrival in Osaka, you are free to explore and enjoy the city at your own pace. Indulge in local cuisine, discover bustling markets, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Day 10

Our journey begins in Osaka's vibrant Dotonbori district, known for its neon lights, bustling streets, and delicious street food stalls, offering a dynamic and unforgettable experience.

Next, we head to Nara to visit Todai-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site housing the Great Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues globally. Adjacent to the temple, Nara Park offers a chance to interact with friendly deer in a picturesque setting.
