Burikatsu-Don is one of the local cuisines of Sado in Niigata.
Buri is yellowtail in English while
katsu means fried. Burikatsu is flavored with soy sauce. The recipe of sauce made with soy sauce is designated by the council. Any burikatsu-don is flavored by the sauce, uses wild fish from Sado Island, and a coating of fried used as a rice flour.
