She was very good and good guide because she spoke clearly, had good knowledge of places visited, gave us good information about sight-seeing and history. Before we arrived at the place, spoke clearly so even sitting at back was not a problem and repeated things afterwards plus answered our general questions well. Bonus point was very good use of audio guide where sight seeing, so even when you are at back or doing your photography, you can still keep up with the information being given by guide.

And time spent at sights I felt cheated to spend time and money to come and see Japanese tourist attractions only to find I only had 20-30 minutes to view and appreciate them. We were often running to try and get around as much as we could and get back to the bus in time. I know that tours can be busy but I have never experienced a tour which was so rushed. Arriving at places at sunset or at night and leaving before am does not allow for rewarding sight seeing.

I think the very best part of the trip was our most wonderful tour guide Sachiko. She was fun, knowledgeable, patient, and full of enthusiasm. She deserves high praise. At one point when I wanted a picture with Ms. Saito and my camera failed, Chiko jumped to the rescue with her ipad camera and said she would send me a copy. I emailed a reminder to her, but my email has not been very good lately and I do not know that she got the email. She may even have sent the photo and it did not come through. We enjoyed the luxury accommodations in every city, the selection of sightseeing tours, and the restaurants for lunch and dinner. However, we were most pleased with your staff. The driver Pac was always on time, friendly, and very helpful whenever we had questions. Our tour guide Chico was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable about every shrine, temple and castle that we explored. She was able to explain the Sake production as well as the Kimono and the bathhouse procedures. She had an excellent vocabulary, pronunciation and general knowledge of the English language, as well as a great sense of humor. She also demonstrated a lot of patience when she had to repeat instructions several times, because some of us were not paying attention. Thank you and everyone who made this trip so enjoyable!

Hide was an excellent guide. He was very gracious and sensitive to the needs of our diverse group. We would recommend Hide San to anyone who travels to Japan. Nobu, our Hiroshima guide, was quite energetic and pleasant. We could have more time for Train/transportation connections,it was too tight one time.(needed time for the elevators to arrive). It would have been helpful if we were able to have a rest with lunch at Miyajima Island instead of rushing back to town for our late lunch at 1:30 p.m. as some people have health issues and needed to eat. Some people walked slow, so I think the day would have been more pleasant if we started the day one half hour earlier and allowed for a 12 Noon or 12:30 p.m. lunch break. Everybody from the tour guide (Seiko san!!), the driver, the hotel staff, airport staff, the person at the convenience store, the police that helped me, pretty much every person I encountered in Japan, and of course the staff of Japan Deluxe Tour treated me with such professionalism and compassion. It was worth every penny. I love Japan. I'm used to nice people here in Canada, but the people of Japan are even better. I love that bowing is part of the culture. I wish I could bow all the time now. I loved the sights, music, culture, food, and people. I thought I knew what being a service to others meant until I experienced the high degree of service in Japan. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future.
