We just ended our “Highlights of Japan/Hiroshima” tour and absolutely loved it. Japan Deluxe Tours is the way to go for a land tour of Japan. Rocky was our tour guide and he did an excellent job. He spoke great English, was very knowledgeable and attentive. All the hotels were fantastic along with wonderful breakfast buffets that had a large variety for all. Tour destinations were amazing. Perfectly paced and packed with experiences that will last a lifetime. The only tour we didn’t care for was the Sake distillery. Although informative, we don’t drink, But others liked it very much. We enjoyed the tea ceremony. We learned so many customs and the history of each stop. So many beautiful places we saw with plenty of time for shopping as well.

1-day SIM cards was very good. Wish we had two SIM cards, or one that would cover 12 days. Much more convenient than haing to connect via Wifi everywhere we go. Mr. Kato, our bus driver, is a very good one. The way he handled the narrow streets and turns are amazing!

I enjoyed this Japan tour very much. The scenery, culture, hotel accomodation are very nice. I enjoy the Dining experience and interaction with Maiko, the shinkansen ride (bullet train). The tour guide "Hiroki" was knowledgeable, funny and pleasant. Very nice tour!! I like the experience of authentic Japanese culture, food and atmosphere. Thank you for the enjoyable tour!

Keep the tour group to a maximum 12-15 people (first part of tour had 82 people-too many). South of Hiroshima, too much distance, too few stops. Current tour needs 2 additional days. Stopped at Matsuyama cities and no time to explore the cities.

The only bad comment I have is that you sent us a SIM card. Being inexperienced on SIM cards I believed that would be all I would need to make calls from Japan to the United States. Low and behold I was unable to make any calls. It turns out your SIM card was for data only and not for making calls. the instructions that came with it said if I needed to make calls all I had to do was go to a certain store and buy a card. I went to several of those stores and no one knew what I was talking about. From now on I’d suggest not sending a SIM card to anybody because it was absolutely useless and caused me much distress. Had I not received your card I would have gone to my provider and gotten the correct one before I left the United States. Thank you.

All the hotels were excellent and the food was incredible during our Japan tour. Got back to hotels too late. By the time we ate dinner, the stores and shops were closed. Felt "rushed" everyday with many different sites to see on the Japan tour itinerary. A new hotel every day is just too much. Should get back to hotel by 4-5 pm so we can relax and unwind before dinner.

The first 2 days of the tours were great as I felt like we saw main highlights of Osaka and Kyoto and while we had a lot to do, we had a reasonable amount time to spend. The last 2 days could have been planned better. We spent way too much time traveling the 3rd day and did not leave early enough in the morning on the day in Tokyo. We are very rushed through major sites of the main city of the tour.

The tour guide was a good overview but we would have liked more time in the museum in Tokyo, Matsumoto castle and the gardens (despite the rain!). Perhaps more time in each place as there were many things to see. It would have been nice to have a massage and also dinner at the Ryokan but hat needed a prior reservation which we could have asked for if we had known in advance. I found everything was very enjoyable during this Japan tour. We experienced many wonderful things of Japan on this tour like the Onsen.
