Overall, a concise trip the country

Overall, a concise trip of Honshu to give us a taste of the country. We enjoyed the various sights. I think it would be good if there were a couple of half days during the afternoon to be able to walk around for a bit.

The trip from Kyoto to Hiroshima would be much better via train.

Best place visited in this tour: Mt. Fuji

Best experience had in Japan: Hot bath

Any place went to visit next time: Kyoto, Osaka

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Very Good

Happy with the general standard of accommodation. The exception was the hotel in Atami as the room was clearly not 4 stars, but closer to 2 stars.

2. What did you think about the food? (Taste, variety)

Fair

Got to try different cuisines and great to experience a range of foods eaten in Japan. Standard meal at Atami for dinner was very poor.

3. Was the tour guide helpful? (Knowledge, communication, attitude)

Excellent

Hiroko was a great tour guide: accommodating, pleasant, and informative.
