We had a wonderful time- Mainly because of our tour guide, Yasuhara san and our drivers, Nakashima san even stopped at a rest shop on the way back to hotel so we can take photos of Mt. Fuji. We took another tour in the United States ( different company) and they don't compare with this one -Brochure and tour guide quality.

I would have preferred if we spend out the same attractions over more days, especially in Tokyo, so we could spend more time there t each place. Thank you for the experience.

Many people were disappointed as early as the second day due to cherry blossoms not being in bloom. Unfortunately they kept the bad attitude for the remainder of the tour. These people took advantage of every minor detail not to their liking and will probably give very bad feedback. They complained the whole time about anything and everything. Addie remained apologetic professional and positive.

Japan Cherry Blossom Tour - Essence of Spring (from Tokyo to Osaka)LOOK ELSEWHERE. Tour guide was disorganized, childish, and relatively unknowledgeable, unfortunately. There was little guiding, more reading from a piece of paper about each site, not actually guiding throughout the site itself. Hotels in Tokyo and other larger cities, although nice, were far away (30 mins by public transpo) from city centers and action. Unlike every other tour company, you shlep your own bags to and from bus. Our tour "guide", Addie, would walk far ahead of group and never checked to make sure the large group was with her, or stuck (often) at a cross light or other delay. Always got on FIRST in (on aerial tram, train, etc), not last to ensure the group was accounted for. She did like to count in Japanese a lot though. Very disjointed and confusing/contradictory instructions. People were unnecessarily confused because of her.

Perhaps use more trains to replace long bus rides. Maybe give an onsen replacement for participants who are not comfortable with the way it's done in Japan. We would have participated had we had an opportunity to use bathing suits.

Our guide, Hidesada Shimazaki, was very knowledgeable, caring and had a good sense of humour. I thought the tour was very well planned with a variety of sights and eating experiences. I, as a reasonably fit 76-year-old woman, was able to manage the large number of steps, but realise that not everyone of my age could. People need to be warned about this and to take walking shoes.
