Day 1
Welcome to Japan! We will have transportation services to take you to your hotel. Please refer to your tour handbook for more information.
Rest at the hotel and be ready to start your exciting tour tomorrow.

Day 2
We will begin with a visit to Todaiji Temple in Nara. Todaiji Temple holds the World Guinness Record as the largest wooden building. Inside the temple, you will behold the largest Great Buddha statue in Japan. Just outside the temple is the Nara Deer Park, where you will be greeted by numerous deer that roam around freely. The deer here at the park are known to be friendly and may even bow at you for a little treat. After our friendly encounter with the deer, it's off to Kyoto for a traditional tea ceremony. Our next stop is the Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates that lead to the sacred Mt. Inari. Fushimi Inari Shrine is often rated Japan’s No.1 destination by tourists and produces gorgeous pictures. In the evening, we will head to the Gion Geisha District, Japan’s most famous geisha district. This area is filled with shops, restaurants, and tea houses and the area in Japan that you are most likely to run into real geisha and maiko on their way to perform at the Gion Geisha Center. Day 3
Our first stop of the day will be a trip to the Golden Pavillion, a stunning structure covered with gold foil, beautifully reflected in the lake. We then continue to Kiyomizu Temple. The most iconic temple of Japan, Kiyomizu Temple is a wooden structure that overlooks the city of Kyoto. On the base, three canals sprout water representing love, wisdom, and longevity. We will then walk to Ninenzaka, an area of town with streets filled with Kyotoesque shops, an ideal place for souvenir shopping. This pedestrian only street is a great depiction of what the streets of ancient Kyoto looked like before modernization. Before we end our day, we would like for you to experience riding on the shinkansen, or Japanese bullet train. The high speed bullet trains in Japan are not only known for its impressive speed but also for its comfort, safety, and punctuality.

Day 4
We will then continue our journey to Hakone, and take a ropeway to Owakudani, an active volcanic crater still steaming from its last eruption some 3,000 years ago. There you will get a taste of the famous black egg, cooked in one of the craters getting its black color from the sulfur. It is said that eating one of these black eggs will prolong your life by seven years. After our snack, we will take a cruise in Lake Ashi. The view from Lake Ashi with Mt. Fuji in the back is an iconic symbol of Hakone. Before heading to Tokyo, enjoy a ride on the Hakone Ropeway!

Day 5
Before our big day at the International Anime Fair - AnimeJapan 2017 tomorrow, our Anime tour will visit the majority of our day at Akihabara, the town of anime. We will first head to J-World Tokyo, an indoor Jump character theme park with attractions, restaurants and shopping related to several anime shows such as One Piece and Naruto . Our next stop is the Pokemon Center which is a must-go for all Pokemon lovers. Besides all the Pokemon goods they sell, they also have a battling and trading room for customers to interact with other Pokemon fans.

We will stop at Tsukiji Fish Market's outer market, one of the largest fish markets in the world. Famous for the daily morning tuna auctions, you will find the freshest seafood in Japan at this popular market.

Our day continues to the old town of Asakusa where you have time to shop at Nakamise Shopping area and Sensoji Temple. You might recognize the place from Kyoko Karasuma - Detective of the Asakusa Police Department, Rokudenashi Bues, and Sakura Taisen.

After our time in Asakusa, we will head to Animate in Akihabara. Animate carries all kinds of character goods, electronics, and games

Day 6
Today’s the big day of the International Anime Fair - AnimeJapan! Join the many cosplayers, otaku, and anime lovers of all degrees in the biggest Anime event in the world. Anime, manga, doujinshi, guest speakers, figurines, rare items, video games, limited and exclusive covers are all accessible at this large event. Enjoy your day exploring the grounds and meeting people with the same passion as you!

If the fair isn't enough, you also have the option to join an optional tour at 3pm to explore the famous Takeshita street and Shibuya Crossing

Day 7
We will start our morning heading to the Ghibli Museum. This animation and art museum exhibits works of Miyazaki Hayao, creator of world famous films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Ghibli Film fans will definitely enjoy the artistic museum, which not only exhibits the history and techniques of animation but also plays short movies in a theater room, produced exclusively for the museum. Our Anime tour will then head to Nakano Broadway, a large shopping complex specializing in anime goods. With two whole floors dedicated to anime and otaku related goods, you are sure to find what you are looking for.

We are now headed to Tokyo Tower, Japan’s iconic tower. Tokyo Tower has been taken over by One Piece, resulting in Tokyo One Piece Tower. Known as Tongari Island, this event is filled with attractions, wonderful restaurants, and a live-action show designed to wow fans of all ages.


We will meet up again for dinner at the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku, a favorite among many visitors. The restaurant has a wild vibe and a unique experience you are sure to find entertaining.
