Further Improving Convenience for Visitors to Japan.

Seven Bank, Ltd. (“Seven Bank”) announces that its ATM screens can handle transactions in 12 languages when using cards issued overseas.

Seven Bank provides ATM services that allow visitors to Japan to use cash cards, credit cards and other cards issued overseas to make withdrawals in Japanese yen. In fiscal 2014, the number of transactions using cards issued overseas exceeded 4 million. Currently, Seven Bank’s nationwide network of more than 21,000 ATMs offers screens, receipts and voice guidance in four languages when using cards issued overseas. From around December 2015, these services will be available in 12 languages. Adding eight new languages (Chinese (traditional), Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Vietnamese, French, German and Japanese) to the currently available four (English, Korean, Chinese (simplified) and Portuguese) will further improve convenience for visitors to Japan. Seven Bank will proactively install its ATMs at locations including commercial facilities that attract numerous foreign visitors, airports, train stations and tourist attractions to provide support for a pleasant trip.
