Loved the Banquets at the hotels on our Japan Tour

I think the tour needs a much better balance between time spent travelling. And time spent at sights I felt cheated to spend time and money to come and see Japanese tourist attractions only to find I only had 20-30 minutes to view and appreciate them. We were often running to try and get around as much as we could and get back to the bus in time. I know that tours can be busy but I have never experienced a tour which was so rushed. Arriving at places at sunset or at night and leaving before am does not allow for rewarding sight seeing.

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Excellent

All hotels were very comfortable and helpful. It was good to have wifi as bus wifi was slow. Hotels were in interesting locations.

2. What did you think about the food? (Taste, variety)

Excellent

I loved the Japanese Banquets that we had at the hotels and the bento box on bullet train during our Japan tour. The buffet lunch at the volcano was much too late and did not seem fresh.

3. Was the tour guide helpful? (Knowledge, communication, attitude)

Excellent

Michika worked very hard and spoke excellent English. She had a difficult task to fit an impossibly busy itinerary into the limited time available. She did the best that was possible.

4. How would you rate the sightseeing spots we have visited? (Favorite place, least favorite)

Fair

The sights were great choices but we did not have enough time at each sight. Photos were not good. As we arrived at sights so late, surroundings shops were often closed.
