Overall a very good experience doing this Japan tour. Dinner at Hotel Tsubakikan was very good. We had Chiko san as our tour guide. She was very good and good guide because she spoke clearly, had good knowledge of places visited, gave us good information about sight-seeing and history. Before we arrived at the place, spoke clearly so even sitting at back was not a problem and repeated things afterwards plus answered our general questions well. Bonus point was very good use of audio guide where sight seeing, so even when you are at back or doing your photography, you can still keep up with the information being given by guide.

Matsumoto Tokyu Hotel had rooms below average. All other hotels ranged from good to excellent.

The breakfasts were good. Dinner at Hotel Tsubaki (day 10) was very good. Excellent Meals for vegetarian group. At all other places were average and in some places below average.
