Seeing Mt. Fuji was a real treat during this Japan tour

The cancellation of the Takayama Festival due to rain was a disappointment, but seeing Mt. Fuji was a real treat. Speaking of treats, the food was great and it was especially fun staying in the traditional Japanese style hotel. Our tour guide Michiko was very good at keeping everyone on schedule. Her English was very good and she was very knowledgeable. Our driver Masa was also excellent. Most of the sights were excellent and we got to go to many different locations. All in all a great Japan tour

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Excellent

Hotels were excellent to very good except hotel Saginoyu. The Ryokan in Takayama (Yatsusankan) was outstanding.

2. What did you think about the food? (Taste, variety)

Very Good

Most meals were excellent to very good. I love Japanese food but an occasional steak would be good. Also ramen should be included in one of the meals.

3. Was the tour guide helpful? (Knowledge, communication, attitude)

Excellent

Our tour guide Michiko was very good at keeping everyone on schedule. Her English was very good and she was very knowledgeable. And driver Masa was also excellent.
