Had a good time on this trip to Japan. All the accommodations were charming, and dining on a variety of Japanese dishes was a great experience. On the day of Gion Festival, it would be nice for our tour guide to provide handouts with information on parade and nearby sights. Also in case of rain version with alternative attractions. While there were some changes to our initial itinerary, it was pleasant taking a train to Hiroshima. Thank you!
The hotel in Atami was charming.
Japanese evening dinner was a nice experience. Meals were varied and accommodating.
Guide Kayo tried very hard. The typhoon created difficulties on Friday and Saturday. Make sure Kayo's bus is available in a place also on weekend in order to make schedule changes if necessary. Appreciate the change to take the train to Hiroshima and the dinner at Saturday evening.
Good variety and key attraction during the Japan tour
Kyoto Gion festival in Kyoto is the largest in Japan having hundreds of food vendors, carnival games, activities, parade, art display, and more. This fully escorted tour will travel from Tokyo to Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Nara, Hiroshima, Miyajima, and a prolong stay in Kyoto.
