I wish to have more free time for shopping as when we get to the sites, We don't have enough time for souvenir shopping especially in Kyoto. By the time we arrive the hotel and finish dinner, all the shopping arcades closed. More time for shopping is my suggestion.
The hotels we stayed so nice and the view from our hotel room windows are amazing. The hotel service and amenities are impressive.
Japanese food is tasty. It's just that we are not used to Japanese cuisine and some lunches in Japanese portions are not adequate for tourists like us.
Our tour guide, Ms. Tanaka is so knowledgeable of Japanese culture, and explains the history of each side very thoroughly, She is so nice and polite and took very good care of us. The driver is excellent and very kind.
I suggest to have more time in the sights in Kyoto as these temples are so beautiful. Nagasaki can be skipped.
Some people would say that sakura, or cherry blossom, season is the best time to travel Japan. They are right. Travel cross-country as you visit major cities and country side like Hiroshima, Miyajima, Arita Ceramic Village, Nagasaki, Beppu, Matsuyama, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and Tokyo.
