Most of this Japan tour was a very pleasant experience.

Most of this Japan tour was a very pleasant experience. It was fun going on a grand tour of Japan seeing all the different sides of Japan. Unfortunately, the weather was very unwelcoming. Lot of rain during this tour. Japan has so much to offer we still had a lot to do, even with rain.

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Good

Hotels in general ok, but Atami hotel was too poor although location was very good.

2. What did you think about the food? (Taste, variety)

Very Good

Food was good. Breakfast and lunches.

3. Was the tour guide helpful? (Knowledge, communication, attitude)

Good

Hide-san was a very kind tour guide and spoke good English, but we would have benefited by connecting a bit more with the group. It was hard for him to anticipate the needs of the group such as water, bathrooms, shopping time.

4. How would you rate the sightseeing spots we have visited? (Favorite place, least favorite)

Very Good

Very good places, but due to the bad weather we would have expected to avoid getting soaked and still enjoy Tokyo. For example, more museums and indoor shopping time. River cruise should be avoided during heavy rain. It's very hard to see out and enjoy the ride. Hard to see anything outside in the yellow bus. It should not be used for tours.
