Best Place Visited on the Japan Tour: Hiroshima
Best Experience on the Japan Tour: Enjoying the polite Japanese people
Want to Visit again/next time: The white castle, Himeji Castle
I think in general i wish the guide would have painted out more scenery and what people were doing as we drove along such as: How people live in the apartments, how many generations, where are churches and schools. Such a lovely lady but I came home with many questions about Japan. This was still a very good trip, an enjoyable Japan tour that I will remember for years to come
the bathrooms were so very nice. All of the bedding was very clean
There were several meals Western type. I do not care for much fish although I know the Japanese eat a lot of fish.
Tour guide Seiko was so friendly. I suggest a first night visit to get to know our tour friends. Having signage in the hotel lobby in the AM to tell us where our breakfast was located. I got lost in two hotels.
I knew from the brochure that we were going to see many temples and shrines. I thought we saw too many.
This trip explores the modern city of Tokyo but also takes you the cultural and historical essence of Mt. Fuji, Hakone, Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Miyajima. We will take you to distinguish UNESCO’s location such as Nara Deer Park with Todaiji Temple where “Big Buddha” resides, and the floating torii of Miyajima.
