This tour accomplished all of my goals.
I learned so much about Japanese culture, art, food, people, and history.
It was the perfect introduction to Japan!
I would have liked to see sumo, theatre (Kabuki), and taken a cooking class

1. How would you rate the accommodations? (Comfort, cleanliness, location)

Excellent

Enjoyed staying in a ryokan having, Japanese breakfast, and onsen. Western hotels were all excellent except in Narita

Excellent

I enjoyed exposure to different Japanese dishes and the variety of western and Japanese meals.

Excellent

Hide-san did a excellent job. Most of what I learned on this trip was due to his vast knowledge of Japanese culture and his ability to convey it to us.
