Best place visited in this tour: Quilt festival & Ichiku Kubota Museum. I enjoyed all of the places we visited. Kyoto Shishu Restoration Studio was a favorite
Best experience had in Japan: Nabanano Sato illumination, making paper at Ozuwashi
Any place went to visit next time:
I appreciated having the video on Ichiku Kubota before we arrived at the museum. It would have been helpful to have some more background on some of the other places we visited and tips about what to look for.
Some of the information we received from Japan Deluxe tours before the trip was very helpful. It would have been helpful to get information about what qualified for tax relates, need to have passport with for tax relate, etc
The hotel was very nice. Proximity to Tokyo Dome was great for attending the Quilt Show. Proximity to station allowed easy exploring in Kyoto.
The meals were carefully chosen and were each different & special. Except the Tenpura. Noritake lunch was very special. Dinner in Tokyo was great. Hoto noodls were delicious
Hiroko was so enthusiastic and helpful. I appreciate her eagerness to help us find the things we were interested in and to help in every way possible.
We saw such a delightful variety of textile – related place.
Travel Japan one stitch at a time with this incredible fully escorted tour stopping at important areas relating to stitch art. We will join the 17th annual Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival that is being held in Tokyo Dome.
