We chose this Japan tour as it was the most extensive, all inclusive tour we could find and it has pretty much lived up to our expectations. If it could be extended by 2 additional nights for us to "draw breath" (i.e stop and rest say every 4th night with a 2 night stay). I believe our enjoyment would have been ever greater and avoid colds and flu which seem to strike at the later end of tour as the pace is tiring and no chance to rest up a little. Overall a wonderful experience!

We are sorry we weren't able to go to the heritage. Japanese Hotel in Takayama with the rest of our group. The pictures and description by our fellow to our members made me feel we really missed out on something special.

All the meals were very good. Although new to Japanese food, even if I didn't enjoy everything we tried, the artistic layout was beautiful.

Guide Michiko kept us "on track" throughout the tour and her instructions were very clear. She also demonstrated her knowledge by providing what was necessary but not over loading us with too much info.

The frustration of every organised tour is that you don't get enough time at the sights that inspired you to come to the country in the list place - not sure how that could improve. It was disappointing not to see the Takayama Festival as that was a consideration in choosing this tour.
