Most of the hotels were good. The breakfasts were very good with a good variety of choice. However, we were disappointed with lunch and dinner only because there were a lack of vegetarian options. Read more

The tour guide was a good overview but we would have liked more time in the museum in Tokyo, Matsumoto castle and the gardens (despite the rain!). Almost everything on this tour went without a hitch. Except for the force of nature (rain) that we did not see Mt.Fuji and the Takayama Festival which we came for primarily, it was a wonderful tour. The cancellation of the Takayama Festival due to rain was a disappointment, but seeing Mt. Fuji was a real treat. The Grand Takayama Festival Japan Tour was great. Tour guide Michiko was informative teaching us history about each of the sites we went to. Was an enjoyable tour and great way to learn about Japan. The tour had many activities and sites each day and plenty of food. Read more

For meals on our own please supply travelers with printed handouts about places to eat (location, price range, type of food) with a map. For people becoming or already ill (coughing) can you please offer masks to protect the health of those travelers who not sick. Read more

Very memorable trip. All in all it was a very good trip. I enjoyed it very much even though it rained and the festival was cancelled. I would have liked to spend more time in some of our sights. All the hotels were excellent and the food was incredible during our Japan tour. Got back to hotels too late. By the time we ate dinner, the stores and shops were closed. Felt "rushed" everyday with many different sites to see on the Japan tour itinerary. A new hotel every day is just too much.... Read more

Had a good time on our Japan tour. Our hotels were very good, especially our Japanese style hotels. We had a helpful tour guide as well who kept us entertained. 90% of the food was very good during the Japan tour. This was a good tour and I would recommended to my friends. Read more
Enjoyed all the sights, the beautiful gardens, temples, the countryside. The people were very polite and courteous. We were very lucky to see the cherry blossoms in bloom. With a variety of foods from the area and rest rooms, the authentic vending machine for drinks and food ordering. Read more
The sights we saw were incredible. We think that the amount of time traveling was unavoidable in order to see all the places. Unfortunately, this was the only drawback to travel so far. A little more time at each sites, even 15 minutes, would help. Read more
Hope to use Japan Deluxe Tours for a custom tour next time. Had a wonderful time. The hotels were great but the Takayama hotel was by far the best during our Japan tour. Overall - very good, would recommend to friends. Good hotels we stayed at, the Saginoyu and Yatsusankan hotels were probably my favorite during the Japan tour. Hotels all had good food and we were lucky to have a very nice tour guide. Read more
