Japanese call fireworks Hanabi. Hana means flower and Bi means fire. Hanabi literally means flower expressed with fire. During summer time fireworks festival is held in almost every major city. Sumida River Fireworks Display is the most popular fireworks festival in the nation. On the night of the fireworks display a lot of houseboat float in the river.
