Mt. Fuji Is Opened For Climbing
With the rainy season ending, Japan’s highest and symbolic mountain Mt. Fuji is open for climbing. It is located about 60 miles southwest of Tokyo. Climbing up Mt. Fuji is probably most Japanese people's bucket lists. Seeing the sunrise from the Mt. Fuji summit is especially popular. It’s called Goraiko
and is believed to have some kind of spiritual power.
