Meet the Samurai!
Toei Kyoto Studio Park is located in Kyoto. This is the only theme park in Japan that you can see and experience the filming of period dramas (jidaigeki films). You can walk freely around the Toei Kyoto Studio film set which shows Edo period and they shoot more than 200 films every year. If you were lucky, you can see the shooting! In addition to this, they have some events. For example, they do a show of the samurai battle, oiran (a parade of oiran) and something like that. Why don’t you experience the Edo period at here??
