Travel Around Japan with Odakyu
Odakyu Dentetsu is one of the major private railways companies in Tokyo. Main terminal station is Shinjuku, located in central Tokyo metropolitan area. Lines extend toward to Kanagawa prefecture which has popular sightseeing places like Kamakura, Enoshima, Hakone, Izu. Enoshima-Kamakura area is probably the best spot if you are planning a quick one day trip from Shinjuku. Enoshima is famous for its beaches and aquarium. Kamakura has a lot of temples shrines and big buddha statue so to speak it called little Kyoto historical town. Izu-Hakone is nearest national park to Tokyo very scenic area has a lot of hot springs.
