A Summer Favorite

A popular drink synonymous with summer in Japan, Ramune is a popular soda that many can recognize by the unique marble caps. Ramune bottles are well known for the unique cod-neck designed shape they have, used for holding the marble in place after the cap is opened. Ramune soda is a bit tricky to learn how to open at first, but the easiest way is to place your palm against the opening cap, and firmly press while bringing the bottle closer to your hand. Because of marbles are used to cap the soda and can be seen sitting within the neck of the bottle, that these drinks are often referred to as marble soda outside of Japan.
