Travel Japan: Summer Essentials

Summer Ready
I think it's fair to say when packing, the seasons make a big difference. After all, I wouldn't go to Japan with the same clothes for the Summer as I would with the Winter. The uniqueness of Japan's four seasons is both admirable, and to be honest, quite irritating at times. Having four distinct seasons means when packing, you need to be aware of what is optimal to take, and what you won't need. Don't forget there are also those seasonal can't miss
attractions that just drive you nuts. Therefore, we want to help by listing five essential goods to have during the summer, and five Japanese experiences to try during the sweltering sunny season.
What to Pack
- Water Bottle
- Hand Towel
- Breathable Sneakers
- Sunglasses
- Gum
Simple list, all designed to keep you cool and comfy while off sight-seeing! There's nothing worse then passing out from exhaustion while trying to make the most of your vacation.
What to Do
No Japanese summer is complete without trying at least one of the following:
- Japanese Matsuri and eating at a Yatai
