Uwabaki Indoor Slippers
UWABAKI Indoor Slippers
You might already know that Japanese people take their shoes off before entering homes. Do you know what uwabakis are? Uwabaki are indoor slippers worn in public facilities like schools, hospitals, and traditional Japanese style hotels called ryokans. Some work places even enforce uwabaki use. By wearing these indoor slippers, the facilities can be kept clean keeping outside dirt at the entrance and not in the building.
