Ever heard of Wakaba Mark or Momiji Mark? Wakaba means young leaves in Japanese and drivers in Japanese whose license has been issued for less than one year must attach a Wakaba mark sticker to their car. This allows other drivers to recognize you as a beginner to take extra cautions. Momiji means autumn leaves and drivers over 70 years old are required to display this mark. I think this is based on one of Japanese cultural behavior "omoiyari", in which they think about, respect, and care about each other all the time.
