Yamanashi Shosenkyo Gorge | Pleasant Hike with Beautiful Scenery
Shosenkyo Gorge, also known as Shosenkyo Mito, is a beautiful gorge in Kofu City, Yamanashi. The gorge is located surrounded by nature at Chichibu Tama Kai National Park. Shosenkyo Gorge is considered one of Japan's most beautiful gorges. The gorge is especially popular during the fall attracting tourists with its warm autumn colors and foliage, making it a popular hiking spot as well. The hiking trails are not difficult and the beautiful scenery make the hike very pleasant. You will find yourself at a nice stream at the end of the hike, having hiked past a waterfall, cliffs, and 50 m tall granite hills.
