Located near Nagoya, Korankei is a valley popular for its beautiful autumn colors in Japan, standing on Mt. Iimori. The beauty of the valley is due to the head priest of the 17th century planting maple trees, which motivated locals to do the same, leading to this beautiful scenery. The iconic symbol of Korankei is Taigetsukyo Bridge, a bright red bridge which provides its visitors with a great picture taking spot from above the river. During the autumn season, Korankei attracts many people with its beautiful scenery and also sets up festival stalls selling food and drinks.
