Inasa-yama translated Mt. Inasa is a 333 meters, 1, 093ft, tall hill located to the west of Nagasaki city. Nagasaki Ropeway takes you to the top of the hill. You can look down upon the whole city from the observation platform. The spectacular night view is selected as one of 3 major night views of Japan. There is a small zoo and Inasa-yama Park on the 8th station. The park has a 15, 000 capacity open air theater and big parking lot. Local residents and tourists can enjoy concerts and other events every year.
