If you plan on visiting Kurama Onsen, we recommend visiting both the indoor and outdoor baths. The indoor baths feature more extras, where as the outdoor bath is a great way to relax with views of Kyoto's mountains. We also recommend trying the coffee offered at the hot-spring buildings, as they are made with the famous waters at the foot of Mt. Kurama.
