Many of our tour guests have some connections to Japan, whether it's a grandfather or distant relative in Japan. While some of our tourists have detailed information on the life of their families in Japan, there are others who have very little information about their roots in Japan. Discovering your ancestry and roots can be rather exciting and fun. It's the perfect opportunity to learn more about your family history and Japanese culture. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than showing those tour guests the places where their ancestors lived in Japan. Many of the villages of Japan remain fairly unchanged, and local Temples and Graveyards are open for visits. We are here to help you locating your furusato
(hometown) and make necessary arrangements to your destination before or after the tour.
Japan Deluxe Tours is happy to help arrange a custom itinerary based on the places you want to visit that your ancestors originate from. We can customize your Japan tour to include a pre- or post- stay in your families home town. Upon your request, we will guide you to the town and street of your family to give you a feeling of their upbringing. Accommodation will be arranged for you at your desired standard. You can also learn about Nikkei history and the emigration from Japan to North and South America with our fully-guided Nikkei Ancestry Japan Tours available during the Spring and year-round!
