Kaikyokan Aquarium

Kaikyokan Aquarium in Yamaguchi, also known as Shimonoseki City Aquarium, is most known for its unique collection of pufferfish. The aquarium displays over 100 types of pufferfish from worldwide. Kaikyokan also has an interesting tank which replicates the Kanmon Straits' tides. This innovative tank had never been seen before and gathered much attention.
