Yoko Saito is a quilting legend and celebrated Japanese artist. She is also an instructor of NHK Cultural Center holding a quilt workshop. Her beautiful precise needlework has reputation from worldwide because she does quilt workshops and publishes her books in France, Italy, British, Taiwan, and so on.
In October 2017, she was invited to Houston International Quilt Festival which was the biggest quilt festival in USA. At the festival, she taught a sold-out workshop. Also, every year, she exhibits her quilt works at the Tokyo International Quilt Festival which is the largest quilt festival in the world. Her dedication to quilt has actively involved with Japanese magazines, television and exhibitions.

She started working on quilt patchwork in 1977. After that, she had original works that published on famous magazines, such as Quilt Japan

, and Patchwork Communication

Later in 1978, she became a quilt instructor and established her shop,Quilt Party
where she exhibited her quilt patchworks and needlework and held her quilt workshops.
From 1990s, she published amazing Quilt Books every single year, and Yoko’s Instagram and Facebook are now famous worldwide.

We’ve been visiting her Quilt Party Shop during our previous tours, but it was the first time that Japan Deluxe Tours finally offered Yoko Saito's special 2020 workshop (in 2020). She held 2 hours-workshop at that time.
It was a great experience for worldwide quilt fans because she taught the advanced Japanese quilt technique that displays color mastery in quilt patchwork.
