Miyakoen Wine Museum

Miyakoen Wine Museum

Promoting the history and methods behind crafting the perfect glass of wine in Japan, Miyakoen is a museum dedicated to the art of Japanese wine making. Initially a collective of vineyards, the land was donated to the Koshu government and opened as a museum in 2011. Only a short taxi ride away from the local train station (JR Katsunuma Budokyo), there are about 30 wineries for tourists to explore. The museum offers winery tours, as well as wine-tasting for a small fee. Guests can expect the finest quality Japanese wines during the sample, and can enjoy beautiful scenery while sipping on their glass. The panoramic views at Miyakoen make for the perfect pairing when sampling the sweet or dry wines of the prefecture!

Relax during your vacation with a smooth glass of wine at Miyakoen. Sample the wines of Japan's top vineyards with Japan Deluxe Tours thanks to our pre/post-stay vacation options.
